Toro Yaka, which means "My Dream" in Northern Sotho, is a one-of-a-kind lodge situated in the unforgettable bushveld of Balule, a 30 000 hectare nature conservancy in the Greater Kruger National Park area. Set apart from others by its seclusion, intimacy and privacy, Toro Yaka allows nature lovers to experience wildlife at close proximity.
The 5000 hectare reserve in the Central Lowveld boasts the Big-Five, where previously there had been nothing. The first animals to be re-introduced to the property were white rhino, hence the name Tshukudu, meaning rhino in Sotho.
Umlani Bush Camp is an exclusive rustic lodge accommodating only 16 guests in en suite reed and thatch rondavels. Early morning and evening game drives are in open four wheel drive vehicles accompanied by experienced rangers and trackers.
